"He's out to make sure audiences don't forget the no-frills, honky-tonk power of George Jones, Vern Gosdin and the late Gary Stewart." Dallas Morning News

Nashville, TN (December 27, 2007) - Arrowhead Records' Jeff Griffith makes his Whiskey River (Staples at Holly, Corpus Christi) debut on Saturday, January 19. Griffith and his tight seven-piece band bring their traditional country sound to the stage at 9:30 p.m. The cover charge is $10, and more information can be found at (http://www.thewhiskeyriver.com/).

The San Antonio's native debut CD, IF IT AIN'T ONE THING IT'S ANOTHER, was produced by country legend, Joe Stampley. Released last month, the album is already drawing rave reviews from around the globe, and recent press coverage includes Inside Music Row (syndicated TV / 23 million viewers); Cybercountry; YouTube TV and MySpace TV. The disc has also generated three hit singles: "Drinkin' Thing," the title track, and his latest single, "I'm Your Radio," which is currently riding high on both the Music Row and Texas Music charts (#36 and #28 respectively). Jeff's music can be heard nationally on XM Satellite radio, and is in heavy rotation locally on KFTX.

Griffith is touring hard in support of the album, and his live shows are packing the dance floors across the Texas honky-tonk circuit. Recently, he's appeared on shows with Sammy Kershaw, Joe Stampley and Heartland. In Nashville last month, Jeff performed acoustic sets for staffers of Country Weekly, and Music Row magazines.
